MSSQL Merge Replication User Accounts

Question

Running SQL Server 2008 (not R2) Enterprise, and merge replication via web.  I am using a domain account for the Agent Process Account on the subscriber, and it only seems to pull the subscription when the user is logged in! Anyone seen this before? Do I need to create a new account to run this under?  I've tried using system accounts but it says bad password or no access.

I believe I had this problem too.  When the user is not logged in, is there an error complaining about IE Proxy settings?

I alleviated this by having my SQL Server Agent service run as the domain account I use for my Agent Process account.  However, I don't think this is best practice.  You might want to have a look here:

I don't seem to be getting any errors at all, it just doesn't work.  What accounts should be used for the SQL Agent and what should be used to run the replication job?

Set the Agent to run under the domain account instead of system or whatever it was, and it is working! Thanks Man.
