    Hi All,

I have added  a reference to my console project and built the solution and tried accessing it with the

'The type or namespace name 'xxxx' does not exist in the namespace 'xxxxx.BusinessObject' (are you missing an assembly reference?)
These are the things which i tried ..

    1. I changed the target framework to .Net framework 4. which was clien profile earlier .
    2. tried adding it and closed the solution , then reopend it .
    nothing is working ..

And if i add the same reference to windows form project its picking up properly    ..

could any one hlp for me .. as it is very urgent ,, I have to deliver it in 3 more days

    Hi,

    Thanks for your post!

According to your description, you are troubling with missing assemble reference in your project.

I would like to know something below:

    1. When you get the error? (During build or runtime)
    2. Is it a Class Library that you add to your project?
    3. Could to provide the code about console project and BusinessObject.

Please try to do something as follows:

    1. Clean your project and rebuild. Check is the dll file in bin folder of your console application.
    2. Double click the reference in VS that you added, the Object Browser window will be displayed, then expand it and check is that type in it.
    3. Create a new Class Library and copy the code to it. Then add this reference to your console application. Check the result.

    Thanks

    Best Regards
