    The Header template is a Div based h1 and ItemTemplate consist of a listview.

  • Why would you want to make the header selectable?  That aside, you would have to implement this yourself.  Trap the pointer down for your header and apply styling similar to the list view items.  You can trace the styles and element IDs using the DOM explorer in Visual Studio.  If it is a template (which it is) you will have to do something like query based on class to attach event handler(s) to the headers since the ID is generated automatically.

  • Hi Jeff thanks a lot for the quick response.

    Currently am using OnContextMenu event as rightclick event on the div.but can the css be applied on this event.

    Also am trying to get the app bar on right click event of the div.But even here the code gets executed but the app bar does not show up

    Any inputs on this will be helpful.

            var appBarDiv = document.getElementById("appBar");
            var appBar = document.getElementById('appBar').winControl;
            appBar.showCommands(appBarDiv.querySelectorAll('.multiSelect'));
            appBar.disabled = false;
            appBar.sticky = true;
            appBar.show();

  • Hi Shishir,

    By default the appbar will appear on right click on the document.

    Perhaps you have something else grabbing the right click?

    I am not sure what you are asking here can you elaborate some more?
