SQL Server 2000 (How to change default schema) RRS feed

  • Dear,

    In our enviroment all Objects should have owner dbo only.
    in sql2005 no issue as by default permission goes to dbo.
    in sql2000 I aa facing the problem by defauly permission goes to login name(user name).

    Now I want set default schema dbo in sql2000..

    Sql server 2000 dosenot have any schema concept !

  • EXEC sp_changeobjectowner will certainly solve your problem !

  • sp_changeobjectowner it's manually change the schema ...........

    I need permanenet solution ..
    If I login with my Id( SQL Server Authen) in sql 2000 by default ownership goes to dbo only like dbname.dbo.object name....

  • Who is the database owner here ? What is the privilege that you have on the dataabse ?
