Unable to delete blob with a lease RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there,

I've been trying for many days to remove a blob that is locked.

I've tried many links from TechNet and they all boil down to call  Microsoft.WindowsAzure.Storage.Blob.CloudPageBlob.BreakLease() method.

This lease seems to be unbreakable! I need help to break it so I can remove this VHD from my storage.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Considering that you've already tried what I was planning on suggesting, I'd advise reaching out to the Azure support

  • That is the problem. Apparently my subscription doesn't give me any support credits.

I've reached out to the Twitter handler and the suggest me to post here.

I am getting in a dead end.

  • Thanks, Marcin.

This did the trick and the blob is gone.

The resource group where it was in is still there, although I've already deleted it successfully. When I click on it I get a message "not found" on my screen.

    Go figure ...

Anyways, thanks for your help. :)
