Windows Developer Preview fails to install correctly RRS feed

  • The installation finishes and my laptop restarts it then starts booting windows developer previews then comes up with a message saying it didn't install correctly something to do with a unmountable boot volume I have tried ever thing and still can't get it to work.


    Any Help...

    any special setup with your mass storage devices? the Win8 setup is very standard and shouldn't give any trouble if you were already running any recent version of Windows (Vista-7) on same setup.

  • My experience with the "UNMOUNTABLE BOOT VOLUME" error is usually related to hardware failure, specifically your hard drive.

    I would run some hardware diagnostics to confirm you are not having any issues with the hardware before troubleshooting the software.
