Does WebMatrix know about EW's DWT's? RRS feed

I'm starting to try and use WebMatrix 3 to edit one of the Expression Web 4  (EW) websites I'm responsible for. This website makes extensive use of EW's dynamic web templates (DWT). I just brought up one of the .htm pages that uses DWT's and it appears to me as though WebMatrix just sees that as a regular file. Put differently, within EW if I were to edit the .htm file, especially in design view, there would be no way that I could edit anything with the DWT regions. EW's DWT are sort of like ASP.NET Web Form's master pages., so that's how I thought WebMatrix would treat the DWT regions within all .htm pages. But it doesn't look like that's the way it's going to work. Have I got that right? Will WebMatrix just ignore the DWT's? Does WebMatrix have any concept either like a DWT in EW or a master page in ASP.NET Web Forms?
