Why do you want to start with a Blank Template and hand-code everything? Why don't you start with a "Navigation Template" that builds everything for you? If you still want to do it from scratch, you can create a Navigation Template and observe how the "default.html"
includes Navigator.js and then creates a <div> placeholder for loading pages as "parts". That way you will understand that the "home.html" gets loaded as the default page in the navigator template.
