Windows 8 Reset - Sim card not active RRS feed

  • Question

  • I had to do a Windows 8 reset (on the Samsung tablet distributed at the Build conference). Afterwards the ATT SIM card is not being recognized. How can I troubleshoot that? Are there additional steps after Windows 8 reset to re-enable the SIM card?

  • I would recommend following the instructions given here:  AT&T Broadband does not show up any more.

Since Windows Developer Preview is a pre-alpha build of the next OS, there is a chance that this issue could be software related.  Try out the suggestions in the link above and keep us informed with your progess.    ^_^
