    I have ran the IIS seo software for my site and it has found quite a few errors ie : "The page contains multiple canonical formats"

    It says to do this to correct,but I haven't any idea what this means :

    Pick a canonical URL format for your site and then ensure that all the links in your site follow that format. (For example, always use lowercase letters.) If an external link that points to your site does not use the canonical URL format, use permanent HTTP redirection to redirect site visitors and search engines to a canonical equivalent of that URL.

    Example:

    www.supertext.ch
    www.supertext.ch/default.aspx

    Both are the same pages. Or:

    www.supertext.ch/de/tuning
    www.supertext.ch/de/Tuning (Tuning is uppercase)

    These count also as two different links.

    To have the same content under different Urls is bad for SEO. Every page should only be accessible by one url. In this case, you can install the IIS7 Url Rewrite Module and fix most of the common issues:
