very slow downloads from RRS feed

  • Question

  • As a subscriber to Visual Studio professional, when I'm downloading from "" it is very slow. But when downloading from any other site my downloads are much more faster.

I'm downloading from home local network. See snapshots attached as an example.

1- Today downloaded files/softs with approximately 1100 Ko/s from different sites

2- But from it was at about less than 50 Ko/s

Please advise. I have already contacted My.Visualstudio support but they said it is related to my local network. Unfortunately I'm not agree with this analyse. Please help. Thank you.

  • Hi,

I am downloading some .exe files after sign in (I'm a subscriber of MSDN).
And I am having the same experience as you. It is too slow, its speed is at kbps (at Mbps in other sites).
I don't remember when it was fast, but it was surely fast. Something wrong is on some MS servers, at least NOW.
