Interrupts: How to configure Interrupt Trigger Type RRS feed

  • Question

  • HI,

How can I configure and interrupts triggereing mode?

An external device toggles one of its lines that I have conneted to an IRQ pin.

The IRQ line remains low for a period of 5milli-Secs. and my IST is invoked continuously for this period.

To resolve this I want to configure the interrupt to be edge triggered, but am not able to find a way to configure this. Can someone please tell me which Function/API will allow me to do this.

    Regards

  • Interrupt trigger modes are hardware specific (the interrupts are generated by the GPIO hardware depending on how it has been configured by the BSP). It's up to the BSP vendor to provide some sort of API to setup such things at the lowest level. Some BSPs provide a great framework for doing low level setup of GPIOs and its interrupt modes while other leave it up to you to set the configuration registers properly.
