DB table add entity generation problem RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have a SL v4 business application project with many tables from one DB.  As I am developing I am adding columns to tables and updating the edmx page to refresh/sync the db with my project.  Yesterday I added 2 tables in the DB and used the add tab of the "update model from DB" to bring the 2 new tables into the project.  However following the update, the entitys were created in the server side edmx ...designer.cs file as expected, but the client side autogenerated web.g.cs file is missing the newly added entities.  This obviously prevents them from appearing in the data source pane for use in the xaml, as well as the objects missing for use in the .cs file.  I have tried several ways to regenerate the file, but none have worked.

I'm hoping that I have missed the post that tells me how to fix this and that there is a simple fix.  But all help would be appreciated in resolving the issue.
