finding table with trace data RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am working on a report that will hopefully show the tables that are being referenced in the textdata of .trc.  Does anyone know a way to find the tables that are referenced in the text?  Some of the statements are short and are easy to find the table but others are long and have 4 or 5 tables in them.

    Thanks.

  • I was hoping there would be a more programmatic approach..  I have my results narrowed to down to around 500 and find would be time consuming.

    I noted that:

If the you export the trace data into a table, you can query it and use LIKE.

  • If you use SQL Server Profiler, You can search it by Ctrl+F

    Then:

If the you export the trace data into a table, you can query it and use LIKE.
