Tryng to access calendar rest api using exchange for oauth. RRS feed

  • Question

  • From Osama Badar @OsamaBadar via Twitter

    Goal: I am trying to access calendar rest api and use exchange for oauth using https://apps.dev.microsoft.com .

    1-. To perform the Oauth2, i need the client secret. I can't seem to find the client secret. There is the option for password or private key but using either of those throws an error. Can you please tell me where to find the client secret?

    2- There are multiple documents talking about multiple ways of registering an app. Should I register my app at https://apps.dev.microsoft.com  which using the following end point or authorization: https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/oauth2/v2.0/authorize …?

    or the make an account on Azure AD and use the following end point:https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/oauth2/authorize …?

    Thanks,

    @AzureSupport

  • Hi,

    The query is related to Office 365, especially exchange online since it seems to be specific to Calendar API.

    Microsoft has dedicated forums for Office 365 commercial support. To ensure you get the best support, please post your question to http://community.office365.com/en-us/f/default.aspx. Also, if you use your Organizational email address for your first-time log-on you will have a more personalized experience.
