HLK Device INF Verification Test Failed RRS feed

  • Question

  • Running HLK tests on my USB device with Windows 10, HLK 10.0.26752, the driver was installed and the oem8.inf/pnf for the device was available in %Wiindows%\inf (Win10). The device was also shown correctly in device manager. However, the HLK "Device Driver INF Verification Test failed as following:

    Commandline cmd /c TE.exe /enablewttlogging /appendwttlogging devfundinftest.dll /p:"WDKInfPath=oem8.inf" /p:"FullDriverInf=%SystemRoot%\Inf\oem8.inf" /p:"queryIsInbox=false" Failed with ExitCode 117440512

Run chkinf with the INF file and everything is okay. Does anybody has a hint to this issue?

  • Hello,

Please roll back to HLK 10240 RTM and re-test again.

HLK 10558,10569 now has some bugs.

Even you pass all tests, you will get fail when submitting to WHQL site.

the fail is "unsupport version HLK".

HLK release note say it can be submitted, but actually, it's not.

    (We got reply from Microsoft).

    About this issue,

do you clean install the system? no driver installed before?

and your USB device never re-plug or plug on other port?
