concurrent connections on windows pro 10 IIS RRS feed

I have a local dev box running on win 10 pro.

I've built a Signlar app which runs great.

But I need to test 12 concurrent connections. After 10 connections the application hangs so there must be a built in 10 concurrent limit.

However, if you read windows license agreement it states you can have 20 connections for iis. Am I reading this wrong? If not then why can't I get up to 20 connections?

    Hi gotaquestion,

As we all know, each client connecting to a hub passes a unique connection id and establish a connection to hub, and at any time a user could have more than one connection to the SignalR application, so the SignalR application could has lots of connections with clients. As far as I know, SignalR itself does not have limitation to connections number, but the browser could limit number of connections.

    Hi Fei -

Unfortunately, that's not the issue. MS has put a limitation on the IIS application pool to max out at 10 concurrent connections when running on a windows 10 pro box. This limitation does not exist on windows server IIS proper.  I know this limitation to be true because before I was using IIS on windows home edition and saw that I was only able to open three tabs (3 concurrent connections) at a time with the application.

My issue is the windows 10 pro end user license agreement clearly states that 20 connections can be available to IIS. Yet, it is being crippled at 10 and not 20.
