HDINSIGHT Installation Error--No snapshot folder RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello Guys,

I installed and uninstalled HDinsight for a couple of times. The error is still there even though the WEBPI reports "everything is good",

Under the folder "C:\hadoop", a couple of folders are missing---"Hadoop snapshot", "pig" and "Hive".

Checking the package installation log,  I can find this error msg in the log file "C:\HadoopFeaturePackSetup\HadoopFeaturePackSetupTools\gettingStarted.winpkg.install.log"

    Creating C:\Users\derekdai.GNET\Desktop\Hadoop Command Line.lnk

Anyone has some ideas on this?
