minibook windows ce edition RRS feed

  • my friend bought a minibook windows ce off ebay. he gets it and all it does is display a screen saying loading os image. i got rid of that but it still wont boot by itself so i use a boot disk. so now when i want to reinstall windows ce 6 it wont run exe files and everything is in some chinese language. 1) how do i get it to boot by itself? 2)how do i change the language seeing is im not chinese? 3)how do i get the thing to run exe files?


    p.s. i have no idea what forum catergory this is

    1. Unfortunatly, your best bet is to contact the vendor.

    2. You may need someone who can read Chinese, but if the OS supports the language that you want to use, then there would be an option to change it in the control panel and/or the system tray.

    3. The same way you would on any other Windows system.  But the exe must be for Windows CE and the processor that the minibook has.
