How long does it take to compile and run? RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • I've heard several people provide feedback that their compile+run sequence takes too long.  Could you please post your findings, for a really simple "Hello World" program?  I'd like to gather input for tracking purpose.  Thanks in advance!

    Here's mine:

    Vista, US English
    Core 2 Duo 2GHz/2GB
    E-Trust Antivirus (could interfere)
    Less than a second
