Metro Style applications cannot launch other applications.

Hi Anuj,
Not directly. You could however come up with a scheme using WNS to update the tile of an application you had written however. For example: You have written two Apps. You wish to update the Tile of your MetroStyleApp1 from another application. Your first application would need to register with YOUR webservice that you want to use to update App1 from. Your second app could talk to the WebService you created and send the notification so that the tile from App1 would update. Do you have a use-case for this? Why would you want to do this?
