FTP Adaptor support for VMS systems RRS feed

  • Question

  • Does anyone know if there has been any attempts to enhence the FTP adaptors support for VMS systems?

The issue in question is the deletion of files which contain versions.

    i.e file1;1

         file1;2

Currently the FTP adaptor chokes when it tried to do a "dele" since it does not pass a version number to the server as well.

  • Hi,

We're aware of the issue.  This feature request is raised every few months.  Right now, there are no plans to support VMS through the FTP adapter, though it might be considered for future releases.

I know there is a third-party VMS (non-FTP) adapter available.

    Thanks,
