"Command Line" Arguments? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I want to make a program that can except a number of "command line" arguments and then use them in the program. (i.e. program.exe -size big -time 10) or something like that.

How do I take "command line" arguments and then store them to variables or execute functions based on the variables.

Any resources to get me started on this?

This program wont be running in the command line, but I want to be able to start it from the command line or "run...".

Would you call them "command line" or "Run-Time" arguments...  or something else. Because i've been trying to search for this a lot and i can't find anything.
