    I am a net admin, not a developer.  I would like to test the management features in W8 \ 2012 for Metro style apps.  I am looking for a sample Metro app package that I can test side-loading or other features.  Any tips?  Is there a way to take a metro-style app that's been installed through the windows store on one machine, and install it using side-loading on another?

    How not-a-developer are you? Are you comfortable with downloading Visual Studio and a sample app and then compiling the sample app? If so then that is probably the easiest way to get an app package to play with.

    Any questions or discussion on sideloading itself should go to the Windows 8 IT Pro forums on TechNet. You'll be more likely to find people who have done this and are familiar with the process there.
