Kinect Video stream not working on compatible graphic card RRS feed

  • Question

  • I Installed SDK 2.0 for Kinect v2.

I run the Kinect verifier tool and says that the graphic processor is not good and that the kinect depth and Color streams are not received. The rest of verifications are correct.

I have a AMD Radeon HD 6700M Series in a HP pavilion dv6 laptop with the correct driver and directX11 installed.

  • You are correct, that should work. Which USB3 chipset is in the system? Can you provide a dxdiag? Ensure you are not on low power mode and that the system is plugged into the wall outlet.

  • Hello,
I'm configuring a desktop PC for a research project, it has to work with a 4K display (video display port) on which the navigation will be controlled with a Kinect v2 based gesture interface.
Could you please give me an updated list of well working 4K video adapters that do not have troubles with the Kinect v2 sensor?
Does DIRECTX12 works properly with Kinect V2?
