CDO.Message error 2 while sending an e-mail RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello and sorry if I am posting to the wrong forum. If so, please feel free to move the thread to the right place.

So as the tittle says I am facing a problem while using the cdo.message object.
I created a small debug function and the error is this: ### COM Error !  Number: 80020009   ScriptLine: 92   Description:The transport failed to connect to the server.
Script line is this: objEmail.Send. I am writing this code in AutoIT, a scripting language. I used telnet to some domains on port 25 to check the connection and the response from cmd was:

"...Could not open connection to the host, on port 25: Connect failed". My problem is that my script will work on other connections but not on my connection. I contacted my ISP to ask them if they are blocking the port 25 to prevent spam emails and they said no. However they told me to reset the router to it manufacture settings where the port 25 is not blocked to ensure that it is not block and I did it. Still telnet connection fails on port 25. I tried also turning off firewall but nothing changed. Any ideas? Please if you need some more informations let me know. Thank you for your attention.
