[Python][Web Apps] Deployment via GitHub, must delete Django template first? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello community,

I created a Django web app on the Azure portal.  The first thing I did was link my GitHub repo to deploy my files (a small Django project which I already had prepared). This went without any problems (I checked with Kudu that the repo was present in the site\wwwroot folder).

But when I go to the url of the app nothing is changed (i.e. I still see the introductory Django landing page).

Must I delete the folders/files related to this Django template in site\wwwroot, first? Or do I need to do something else?

    Thanks.
