    return profiles[0].networkAdapter.networkAdapterId;

    Yes, take a look this blog: http://blogs.microsoft.co.il/iblogger/2012/12/11/how-to-get-a-unique-device-id-in-winrt-c/

    Another approach you can use is taking the NetworkAdapterId , which is like using the MAC address (WinRT doesn’t give an API to take the MAC itself).
