How to get nearby locations by Bing spatial service RRS feed

  • In my map control I want to display the nearby locations. This is done with the help of Bing spatial data service. I want to display the locations in India. How to get the data source. I don't know how to create data source. I want to just access the data source

  • The point of interest data sources in the Bing Spatial Data Services are for North America and Europe. There isn't one for India. Note that the spatial data services is a place where anyone can upload and host spatial data and make it available. NAVTEQ manages their data sources.

    Bing Maps does have a legacy SOAP service which has point of interest data globally which you might want to look into. Note that most companies like Yelp have API's that you can use with Bing Maps as well.

  • I think SOAP service is not present Windows phone 8.1. in How to use this SOAP service in our Windows phone 8.1 applications and display the nearby locations in map control.
