Visual Studio 2010 Beta 1 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Next week Visual Studio 2010 Beta 1 will be available. Does it include the long awaited ReportViewer update? I mean RDL 2008 schema support for localmode? If yes, will it be compatible with 3.5 framework?

  • Doesn't look like it:-(  I installed VS2010 Beta 1 on a VPC with Windows 7RC and I still only have access to the old Chart/Table/Matrix. No Tablix/Gauge/New Chart in sight.

  • With some luck they will be smart enough this time to keep the local mode insync with the changes planned for SQL08R2(Maps, ect.....).

  • Too bad :(

Thanks for the info though. I put my hope on beta 2 now. And yes, it would be great if they keep localmode somewhat insync with the latest RDL schema. The current delay is just ridiculous.
