DateTimePicker control strange behaviours RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I'm having a strange problem with the DateTimePicker control. Now and then when I choose a date it does not show it as the chosen date and the user is left with a black field. I have no clue what might be wrong, any suggestions will be welcomed.

    thanks,

    Ehsan

  • are you binding some properties to the control or it is a plain control? if so, try to bind it manually and see, what happens.

  • Hi Ehsan,

Do you mean that the DateTimePicker filled with black color?

Can you show us a screen shot?

Is this a custom DateTimePicker  or build-in DateTimePicker?

Could you please show us the properties set to the DateTimePicker?

    Best Regards,

  • This is after selecting the date.

  • Hi Ehsan,

According to the screenshot, it seems that you are using a nullable DateTimePicker.

Could you please share some code with us?

If you are looking for a nullable DateTimePicker, you can try the custom control below.
