Best Database for Entity Framework in Asp.Net MVC 5 Framework RRS feed

  • Hi Everyone,

    I am gonna create asp.net mvc 5 with orm tool that is entity framework. I am searcing that which database has better performancewhen i use entity framework as orm tool Almost every one is saying mssql server is better than oracle database but no one didnt say certain information.  Could you give me a document that compare mssql server and oracle database working with entity framework?

    As far as I know, entity framework is Object-Relational Mapping framework, which is a convenient way to provide an abstraction for data access in an object-oriented application, it based on ado.net. and we know that ADO.NET is based on a data provider model which provides a common managed interface that can implemented by data providers to enable interaction with various data stores. so I think that To achieve the best performance for your application, use the .NET Framework data provider that is most appropriate for your data source.     If you use SQL Server, A default provider for SQL Server is included in the framework by default. you don't need to install extra provide.
