OSError: [Errno 95] Operation not supported while restoring backup on the Azure File Service

    Question

  • Hi,

I am restoring  a backup taken using duplicity. While restoring I saw an exception OSError: [Errno 95] Operation not supported(full stack below). I googled(https://groups.google.com/forum/#!msg/repo-discuss/9HteWOwiHr8/P927YbvYTosJ) this error and found out that it might be due to problem in creating symbolic links. The restoration is going on a File Service disk that I mounted on my server.

I am not sure but can this error be because of the file service that I mounted on which we cannot create a symbolic link. I don't know how to move forward on this, please help me out.

    Full stack trace below

    Thanks
