How to suppress windows explorer error "The Volume Does Not Contain a Recognized File System" in C#? RRS feed

  • Question

  • When I plugin a USB drive, windows explorer throws "The Volume Does Not Contain a Recognized File System" error. This happens during the program execution as the program searches for the drive. Is there a way to suppress this warning in C#?

  • Hi Ranjini,

    Thank you for posting here.

Based on my search, it is an error instead of a warning. Therefore, I suggest that you could try to find the solution to solve the error instead of suppressing it.

Besides, I think your problem is hard for us to solve it by using c#. Because it seems that there is no corresponding class library or API to do it.

Finally, I suggest that you could look for direct ways to solve it.

    Best Regards,

    Jack
