TFS + Build Server + Visual Studio on same machine RRS feed

  • Question

  •

Because we have only one server I wan't to install Team Foundation Server, Build Server and Visual Studio 2005 (and perhaps 2008) on our server. I will use TFS for continous integration builds.

As far as I understand I need VS 2005/2008 to execute the Unit Tests. And all our projects do not have dependencies to any software that must be installed on the machine.

Is there a master drawback when installing everything on the same server machine?

Thank you for your comments & suggestions.
