    what kinds of service do Azure Storage provides? is it Saas only? or iaas, paas?

    I was trying to prepare DR situation, but for comparing reasons I do deeply wanna know about Azure storage.

    How about Azure storage for DR??

    Sorry for Not a QUICK QUESTION Lol

  • Azure Storage is a PaaS service. It's difficult to comment whether you can use Azure storage for DR or not as the requirement is not very clear. Please refer the link below for more details on Azure Storage and see if you can fit it for your requirement. Please let me know if you have any further query.

  • Adding more info @ Rohan Islam Azure storage is a PaaS Service, in the sense it provides you storage without you having to worry about how it is stored, replicated, etc Azure Storage Provides different service based on requirements.

    Azure Files: Simple, distributed, cross-platform file system

    Azure Disk: Persistent, high-performance disk storage for every workload

    Azure Blob: Massively scalable object storage for unstructured data

    Azure queue:  Is a service for storing large numbers of messages. Access messages from anywhere in the world via HTTP or HTTPS.

    Data lake Storage: Secure, massively scalable data lake storage.

    Archive: Industry leading price point for storing rarely accessed data

    Avere vFXT for Azure: High-performance computing at the edge

    In order to ensure that your data is durable, Azure Storage replicates multiple copies of your data. When you set up your storage account, you select a redundancy option. See here Replication options for a storage account include:
