No Scroll BArs in Sketchview Player RRS feed

  • Question

  • I needed more room on my AdBoard so I adjusted the <UserContro>l tag to be...

     Width="686" Height="1200" ScrollViewer.HorizontalScrollBarVisibility="Visible" ScrollViewer.VerticalScrollBarVisibility="Visible">

    Next I adjusted the Grid

     <Grid x:Name="LayoutRoot" Background="#FFDFBCBC" Margin="0" ScrollViewer.HorizontalScrollBarVisibility="Auto" ScrollViewer.VerticalScrollBarVisibility="Auto">
       <RowDefinition Height="Auto" MinHeight="100"/>
       <RowDefinition Height="Auto" MinHeight="248"/>
       <RowDefinition Height="Auto" MinHeight="327"/>
       <RowDefinition Height="203"/>
       <RowDefinition Height="291"/>

    Next I 'Package The Sketchflow Project'

    When I open the TestPage.html file, the Sketflow Player opens and everything looks fine except I dont have any scroll bars, and cannot scroll around the page. The page is displayed but the top & bottom are not visible. I can zoom out and see the whole page, but the display is then too small to work with

    Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong ?

  • Hi Brian,

    Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately, the SketchFlow browser player itself does not add a ScrollViewer to the UI right now (this is something we want to address in the future).

    So to workaround this right now, you will have to add a ScrollViewer control to the screen that is going to display the large content, and then add content inside that ScrollViewer.

  • Hi Unni

    Thanks for the reply, I will try your suggestions

    One other question...is there a way to import a Word document into Sketchflow?

  • Nope, not today. There is only a way to export Word documents (and import Powerpoint and Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop files).

  • Thanks Unni

    I tried your suggestion of using ScrollViewer, which gives me what I need.

    The problem now is that in the Sketchflow viewer, if I scroll to the bottom of the artboard, leave some feedback (for example mark an item with the highlighter), then scroll to the top of the artboard, the feedback scrolls as well...it does not stay in the original spot.

    Anyway around this ?

  • Brian,
    Sorry, the ink highlighter does not realize it is placing ink inside a scrollview...

  • Good that I have foun your thread, would you please tell me how toput content in scrollviewer?

    I did something myself, well I grouped all things in scrollviewer, but my screen is something 1280x1600 and problem appears. The thing is that I cannot scroll, do not know why, but scrolling is incative. Would you please give me some hint of how to do it properly?
