    Question

  • I have ruleset file with me. I want to attach it to dotnet core or normal dotnet project in Visual Studio 2017. In previous version of Visual Studio i can attache it using Code Analysis Tab from Project Property but i cant find that option in latest release. I cant find information related to this topic on MSDN or on other site. Please help.

We have MSBuild items/properties for nearly all compiler arguments. You can use the property of "CodeAnalysisRuleSet" in the .csproj file:

    <CodeAnalysisRuleSet>...</CodeAnalysisRuleSet>

    Hope this can help you.
