How to I specify the number of rows to display in a ListView? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've wrapped my main grid control into a ViewBox control.  This does exactly what I wanted (thank you, Chuck!).  However, I've now got a problem with the ListView control.  I've got a ListView control which is in one of the grid's rows.  In testing this app, I had it bring back a lot of data; over 1200 records from the database, to display in the ListView control.  Now, I'm sure because of the ViewBox control, when it brings back the 1200+ records my page gets really long!  (It's kind of funny, really.)

So the question is, how do I make it so that the ListView will only show, at most, let's say 10 records?  How do I force it to use vertical scroll bars?

  • With others help, I found that if I specify the height of the row that the listview is in, it will cause the vertical scroll bars to show up.
