I am developing an app and i want to know that is the app automatically compatible for tablets, windows phone and desktop or i have to write code for this?
You will not be able to use a windows store app on the windows phone 8. The apps should run in the windows 8 desktop store or tablet version. The only exception would be bing maps or sqlite apps make you compile for a specific processor.
