  • Hi Vasu,

you can check if you are logged in as Administrator through the Control Panel, More Settings, click on Add or remove user accounts under User Account and Family Safety, click on Choose the user you would like to change, Change the account type. Of the two given choices Standard user and Administrator, choose Administrator if you are listed as a Standard user.

Please get all your Windows updates, even the Optional ones. Check the Device Manager for problem causing drivers, especially the display drivers, represented by yellow exclamation marks. Try to update the driver from the Device Manager by right clicking on it and choosing to update automatically, with your net set to On. If that doesn't work, download the most recent driver from the device manufacturer's site, and install in Compatibility Mode if an out right installation doesn't work for you.

  • Hello Vasu Ojha,

It may be that you have have a corrupted download and Windows Developer Preview was not downloaded correctly.
This error may be caused by a bad burn of the .ISO. Try re-downloading and re-burning the .ISO file.
Also, it may help to burn using a lower speed if the software you are using to burn the .ISO supports that function.

On Windows 7, the easiest way to convert this file is to use
    Windows Disc Image Burner
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Burn-a-CD-or-DVD-from-an-ISO-file

Once you download the ISO, verify the Sha 1 hash to make sure it is the same as expected.
