Fremys Extension - List Box RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Everyone,

First of all can someone run me through the installation process of a extension or point me to some kind of documentation.

Is it possible to create a Listbox from this extension as I have read it adds more "objects".

    Kirk.

  • To install an extension, follow steps:

    1. Close Small Basic

    2. Download xml and dll files

    3. Create folder called "lib" in small basic directory

    4. Copy and Paste xml and dll files in "lib" folder

    5. Open Small Basic

As far as I know, you can't add a listbox, though you can use a textbox as a substitute, or checkboxes.

And Kirkkaf, these are "controls", I think you mean, because static objects in Small Basic are libraries like TextWindow, or GraphicsWindow, and the things inside libraries are functions.

  • Apologies for the use of a wrong  term. Would be like to see List boxes added as a control for this extension. For the meanwhile I will work around this problem.

    Once again thanks,
    Kirk.

  • You can add in your own code to create a listbox (but of course, not as good as real one) :

    Import Code: JVM281
