Tools for building simulation environment RRS feed

  • I happen to learn SPL from hellowapps.com site and i was able to make a fully functional simulated robot with multiple joints in a day time  (i used google sketchup for 3d mesh).   

    The VPL tool provided by MSRS is a fantastic easy to use visual programming tool but it does't help me in creating a new environment or a new simulated robot .

    My Question to MSRS

    1. In future are you planning to have a tool to simplify the process of making new  simulated robot or new environment ?.

    2. Developing a environment or a robot with c# code has a huge learning curve and i personally find it very difficult to build a new robot with c#, even just creating a joint and providing some physical properties to it itself is very difficult and error prone.

    I will be really delighted to see some MSRS integrated tools for creating simulated robots and environments . This will really help me protoype the robot faster.
