Excel 'Refresh All' error messages

Question

I am busy updating an MS Excel document with the 'Refresh All' tab as part of the ETL process. I have successfully done so for 11 of the 13 Excel documents but with the 2 remaining ones, 1 gives a "SQL Server does not exist" error message and the other says, "The query did not run, or the database table could not be found.".

I am using the SQL Server 2012 and Excel 2013.

The error messages indicate connection or security issue, how do you make your excel refresh? I see ETL word, is "refresh all" processed in SSIS?

Hello,

In MS Excel go to tab "Data" => "Existing Connections" and check the connection settings if they are valid and correct server name is entered.
