Remove From My Forums

I want to upload a picture from my pc inside the picture box in the app, basically its like uploading the picture.

I searched a lot and there are some ways like FileOpenDialog box which i currently not available as a control in the updated version of visual studio 2013 for windows if somebody understand what i want can answer or tell me a workaround.

In Windows Store Apps the equivalent to the FileOpenDialog in Desktop applications is the FileOpenPicker. You can find more information on that class here in the MSDN: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/windows.storage.pickers.fileopenpicker.aspx
