Is sample code available for protocols? RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • No. Microsoft does not supply sample code for protocols.

IDL file definitions are provided for RPC protocols.

Implementers can have access to Microsoft source code through a separate source code addendum. (See http://www.microsoft.com/protocols for more information.)

  • Access to Microsoft Windows source is handled through the Share Source Initiative.  The Shared Source Initiative Microsoft licenses product source code to qualified customers, enterprises, governments, and partners for debugging and reference purposes.

For more details of the about the Shared Source Initiative can be found here http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/sharedsource/default.aspx
