Compare text of two word documents using C# and save compare result as new word document file RRS feed

  • Hi All,


    I have to compare the text of two word documents using C#, and I want to save compare result as a new word document file in my project root  .


    Can anybody please let me know how to do this?

  • This forum is related to Visual Basic for Office products.  It would be better to do this in the VSTO Forum.  You can also use NetOffice which I find much easier to use.

  • Why not just use Word's Compare feature (under review tab).

  • I do that but did not found actual

    I have two string in table one string is actual and second one  string typed by user

    I get both string form table and write in two word file and then compare both word file and now i want compare report in new word file which also contain 1- No of missing word, 2- No of extra word, and 3- No of incorrect word
