Getting Error:TF255356 (Failed to load Msxmlsql.dll) in advanced configuration RRS feed

  • I got Error:TF255356 in advanced configuration with TFS 2010

    [Error @06:40:52.012] Failed to load Msxmlsql.dll. Could not find prepared statement with handle 0. sp_xml_removedocument: The value supplied for parameter number 1 is invalid. Error 500004, severity 16, state 1 was raised, but no message with that error number was found in sys.messages. If error is larger than 50000, make sure the user-defined message is added using sp_addmessage. The statement has been terminated. [Info @06:40:52.014] System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): Failed to load Msxmlsql.dll.     Please try executing the following statement from the SQL Server Management Studio. If it reports an error, you should post to SQL Server forum at http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/sqlserver for the better response.


    DECLARE @docHandle INT
    DECLARE
    @error INT

    EXEC sp_xml_preparedocument @docHandle OUTPUT,
    N'<root><child/></root>'
    SET @error =
    @@ERROR
    IF @error =
    0
    BEGIN
      EXEC
    sp_xml_removedocument

    END

     

    Have you configured SharePoint 2010 with your TFS 2010, SharePoint and TFS 2010 installed with the same SQL instance? Please confirm that.
