  • From the MS Blog:

"On October 13th, Microsoft announced that the /hosting mode option for deploying Exchange for multi-tenant hosting will not be carried forward into the next version of Exchange. Going forward (starting with Exchange 2010 SP2), hosters should use the on-premises configuration of Exchange to run a multi-tenant hosted Exchange infrastructure which will be fully supported by Microsoft and offers a broader set of features to be offered to end customers."

Also please note that i am not fully aware if SP2 is actually supported by WSP.. i would assume it isn't duo to the Address book policies.

(you might want to search this IF SP2 is actually confirmed working.. as all i can find is a feature request for it.)

On the Application pool..when you setup the Server module of Websitepanel.. you have created a user (wpserver or something like it.. in Active Directory).

You require to add that "Application pool" user to the following groups: Administrators, Domain Admins.

(a problem a week earlier on this issue also required to have those groups assigned to the Portal and Enterprise modules.. but you can check that later if it gives error 503).

Make sure you read the manual carefully and preform every step :)

(it might also be convenient to read the other pages about SP1 hosting mode module).

    Regards,

    Marco

  • Hello,

It seems it's complaining about something that isn't filled in : Value cannot be null.

Did you follow the setup guide for Exchange hosting mode?

If so.. is your server configuration fully configured?

Did you assign the domain admin and administrator group to the WSP server pool?

    Regards,

    Marco

(PS: If your setting up a new server - it is recommended not to use hosting mode - please check microsoft KB for that one.)

  • Hello, M. Tiggelaar!

Please, give a instruction about "assign the domain admin and administrator group to the WSP server pool".

And link to KB abot MS recomendation "it is recommended not to use hosting mode". Where can read about it.

    Thanks for reply.
