When wifi is slow, 400 error on http://localhost/ApplicationData.svc/$metadata RRS feed

  • Question

  • Anyone seen this before?  When my wifi connection is spotty I'll get a '400 Bad Request' error when browsing my first screen in lightswitch, because of this call:

    http://localhost:<port number>/ApplicationData.svc/$metadata

When that happens I have to completely close the browser and restart my debugging session-- refreshing the page does not work.  Seen this before or know what I might to do mitigate it?  (Besides making wifi faster in the cafe.)

Would anyone know tricks to getting a LS app to run locally, without need for an internet connection?  I know the startup pages use cdns to download jquery and other support libs, which I can always copy and reference locally.
